Harpo (aka Paula Colman) is a freelance writer because it’s a lot more fun than practicing law, focusing on hiking, mountain biking, skiing and other outdoor adventures for Ski Utah, VisitUtah, and others. As an “Over-50 Adventurer” raised far from Utah’s slopes and slickrocks, she strives to make the activities she writes about accessible to audiences from varying backgrounds and abilities.

She’s also passionate about food and wine pairing and introducing others to this culinary odyssey. Her wine education began over 20 years ago watching the Tour de France at home and enjoying each of the 21 stages with foods and wines found along the route. She is, indeed, the Queen of the Mountain here in Utah.
